Caregiving takes heart, patience, flexibility, and a whole lot of inner strength. This month, we’re shining a light on orange as the Color of the Month for caregivers—a color that reflects energy, warmth, encouragement, and resilience. All things caregivers use daily, whether they realize it or not.
Why Orange?
Orange is the color of support and visibility. It’s bold enough to be noticed, warm enough to feel comforting, and bright enough to spark a little hope on even the hardest days. Caregivers often live in the background, quietly handling appointments, medications, emotions, and schedules. Orange reminds us that caregivers deserve to be seen.
Start Looking for Orange
This month, we invite caregivers to start looking for the color orange in everyday life:
An orange mug during a much-needed coffee break
A sunset glowing orange at the end of a long day
An orange notebook, pen, or sticky note keeping everything organized
Even an orange snack that fuels you between responsibilities
Each time you spot orange, let it serve as a small reminder: you matter too.
A Note on Timing (and Looking Ahead)
You may notice we’re sharing this mid-month, and that’s intentional to mention. While we’re highlighting orange on the 16th this time, our goal is to release the Color of the Month on the 1st of every month moving forward. Caregiving doesn’t always follow a perfect schedule—and sometimes awareness, like caregiving itself, begins right where we are.
Carry Orange With You
Whether you wear it, use it, notice it, or simply think about it, let orange be a symbol of encouragement this month. Caregiving can be exhausting, isolating, and overwhelming—but it can also be filled with moments of connection, love, and strength.
So keep looking for orange, keep showing up, and remember: caregivers deserve color, recognition, and support—every single month.
